David settled in SW Florida in 2013, coming from the central Illinois farming community. David operated a corn and soybean farm for 45 years, operating 1200 acres and selling farmland and residential land. Developing a 32 acre subdivision in 2001, he was able to work together with community leaders and insure the health of the local lake by using the development as an erosion buffer for the 5000 acre lake. SangChris Lake Estates is a shining moment. He brings his wife of 42 years to the area. Both are active with the Take Stock in Children mentoring program, the Charlotte Harbor Rotary club as Disaster Chairman, and Chairman of the Taste of Punta Gorda for two years.
